Cellular respiration is like a cooler version of wood combustion. 
  Cellular Respiration is for multi-cellular things. It is in everything from you to the fish you ate this week. 

  The basic of it is that we take Glucose (A fancy name for sugar) with some oxygon and then some cool things happen in your body (Glycolysis, Pyruvate Oxidation, Citric Acid Cycle...), and than POOF! You get energy, Plus some CO2 and some good old H2O. 

Glucose = Useless. ATP = BEST

  Well, our body unlike plants doesn't like glucose. We can't observe them directly. We need to turn them into something else. But your body is smart so it turns it into something that it likes. ATP aka Adenosine Triphosphate. Don't ask me why scientists give these so difficult names. 

  Don't underestimate how much your body LOOOVES ATP. Every single day your body burns OVER 100 pounds of ATP! That's more than what I weigh! IN A SINGLE DAY. 
  So you can understand why almost all of your cells are making energy. You being alive is hard. So please, don't waste time. 

Fun Fact: Some bacteria can make and store oxygen without cellular respiration. In that case, it is called anaerobic respiration. I know, the names just keep on getting better!

Glycolysis

  Cellular Respiration is in someway more effective than wood combustion. Because it is slower. Cellular respiration acts like dominos. It does it one at a time. Since it has so many chemical reactions. 
  To kick-start the reactions you need some ATP. But don't worry you will gain more ATP at the end of Cellular respiration. 

  Your glucose will go through 10 chemical reactions. Each one will form it so it looks more like ATP. At the last chemical reaction molecule Pyruvate turns it each glucose molecule into 2 ATD plus 2 NAOH+ and 2 H+, which can also be turned into ATP. 
  The process needs NADH
