the science behind coke & mentoes

The classic prank mentoes + coke we all like that but really how does it work. The experiment happens becouse of nucleation. (high surface low volume) But the biggest reason that it flew like six feet into the air is not because of some fancy physic reaction but is about basic space.

Basically reaction is like a balloon why does the air come out of the balloon? It does not have enough space. Why does the coke fly out because it does not have any room!!

why does it not have enough room ? it is because when mentoes meets with coke it create carbon dioxide like other things it takes space with a sudden release of that the coke shoots up about six meter into the unknown (Frozen you get it)
