"Quantum Entanglement Explained Easier"

What is quantum entanglement? Well, it is a phenomenon in the quantum world when 2 or more particles share a common, unified state. In case you don't understand that ( do this even if you understand ) imagine a kitty in a box. We call her Berry. Pretty nice right?
Now we put a bomb in this box. This bomb has a 50% chance of exploding and killing poor Berry in the process. We have no idea if Berry is dead or alive until we open the box, and thus Berry is both dead and alive. I probably sound a bit weird but trust me. You will understand this by the end

Now imagine instead of berry in a box with a bomb. There are 2 boxes and 2 bombs that have a 50% chance of exploding placed in each box. There is also a kitty placed in each box. Basically its Berry but times 2. So now there is Berry and Cherry.

There is 4 possible outcome. Both cats are alive, both are dead, Cherry is alive and Berry is dead, Berry is alive and Cherry is dead. But actually, there are only 2 possible outcomes, because both cats can not be alive or dead.

In this world, we follow the rules of classical physics. When we go smaller and smaller, the rules will start to change. This is not some fictional theory either. Reaserchers tested this theory. Even with no way for the 2 particles to communicate. Heck, place them at one end of the universe and place the other box and the other end. They won't even communicate threw time and they can still never be both alive and dead.

As our world starts to find out more and more about the quantum world we start to create all kinds of crazy things, such as quantum computers, and quantum chromatography.

If the 2 kitties are lucky they can even find a way to use quantum teleportation where they travel to a universe without evil physicists and boxes! Just so you know, no kitties were harmed during this experiment.

Basically, 2 subatomic particles are entangled in a superposition state.

  1. it seems not too difficult from your explanation!
