"How To Train Your Brain To FOCUS! ONLY 2 STEPS (Direct Approaches)"
We are going to talk about direct approaches to your problem, so no sLeEp LoNgEr, eAt HeAltHy.
Step 1: Spy training (For Your Brain)
Have you ever watched Spy x Family? It's a really good show. Let's say you met someone who sits on the sofa day and night eating ice cream while Bing-watching Spy X Family. (Damn, that sounds like me). You can say that the person isn't really in good shape. Both physically and mentally.
You go to the gym to train your body, but you should also train your brain. People really are lazy when it comes to brain training.
For example. You go to the doctor if you're seriously ill. How many people go to a therapist if they are seriously depressed?
The Actual Step One, Spy Traning For Your Brain
So let's say, you can´t sit still while holding a book for 5 minutes. Ok, that sounds very bad but we can still work with it. Pick something you really can´t sit still with and then record the length of time you can spend on it without feeling like you're diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Now let's say you can do it for 5 minutes. Then you set a timer for 5 minutes 30 seconds. Try to repeat this for 5 times at least every day. But be sure to take some breaks in between these sets. Just like training at the gym.
Step 2: Roots Of Short Attention Spans
Just like going on a diet is healthy for you, going on a diet for your brain is healthy for your brain. Studies have shown that we just spend on average 10 seconds on each Instagram post.
By looking at those for 25 hours a day. We are L-I-T-E-R-A-L-L-Y training our brains to have short attention spans.
So you should look at looooooonger YouTube videos. T.ex TED Talks, they are extremely boring talks that talk about only 3 things for 50 minutes. Just kidding TED Talks are AMAZING.
I LOVE Ted Talks. Some people might be a simp for donuts but I'm a simp for TED Talks, and Spy X Family.
Feed your brain healthy content that is long but you can still watch social media. Just not too long. Hope you can focus better!
